Since April 30, 2000:
� Operator customers grew from 58 to 77, serving in aggregate 240 million voice subscribers � Phone.com active mobile Internet subscribers grew from 2 million to over 4.1 million � Total UP.Browser-enabled phones shipped doubled to 12 million � Phone.coms Email and Organizer application users grew to over 3 million � Registered developers creating Phone.com-compatible Web sites and applications grew from 62,000 to 110,000
The huge growth in the shipment of UP.Browser-enabled phones during the quarter signifies a turning point for subscriber adoption of the wireless Internet. As these phones are sold to consumers, additional subscribers become active, and generate traffic for both wireless operators and mobile Internet information and commerce Web sites.
