Webraska winner of the �CEO�s award for innovation in WAP� Webraska wins WAP Congress award for �CEO innovation in WAP� in the wireless marketplace Poissy, France, 30 November 2000 - Webraska, the worldwide provider of personal navigation software platforms and solutions for the Wireless Internet, has been awarded the first official WAP award for CEO innovation in WAP at the WAP Congress 2000 in Seville, Spain. Among 10 000 applicants Scott Goldman CEO, WAP Forum announced his own choice for this award to Webraska a winner in his opinion.
Jean-Michel Durocher co-founded Webraska in Poissy, France, with Thierry Dumort in July 1998 with the aim of turning mobile Internet devices into worldwide personal navigation co-pilots, enhancing location based services with optimised door-to-door directions and street-level mapping based on shortest journey-time.
