Motorola set to propel Peramon into corporates worldwide

3GSM World Congress, Cannes, February 19-23 2001: A26, Hall 2, HP Bazaar Stand - UK developer of mobile Internet technology, Peramon, today announced that Motorola is to resell its theMOBILIZER product as part of the new Motorola Mobile Office Solution. Motorola will provide users with access to all of their existing email services, personal information, and address books direct from their mobile device, quickly and simply.

The Motorola Mobile Office Solution comprises the following components:

Secure WAP Gateway - connects WAP phones to the Internet or Intranet;
SMS Server - allows binary codes such as logos to be transmitted;
E-mail Connector - gives mobile phone users access to their email services and contact lists;
WAP Site Search - allows users to use keywords and phrases to search any WAP site such as wireless portals and corporate sites on a WAP-enabled phone;
Calendar Connector - allows users to navigate their calendar; and
Newsgroup Connector - brings full newsgroup support to WAP-enabled phones.
