LPG Innovations extends Intranet services to mobile devices LPG Mobile Communication Center enables faxing and viewing attachments with a mobile phone Finnish mobile software company LPG Innovations today unveiled a new product, LPG Mobile Communication Center (MCC), targeted at operators, service providers and enterprises, enabling them to offer their customers or personnel mobile access to Intranet services such as e-mails, calendars and directories with their wireless devices. The product will be sold to companies through channel partners and directly to service providers and operators for application service provision purposes. LPG Mobile Communication Center is built on technologies introduced in LPG WAPoffice. It allows access to Intranet services through mobile devices with a web browser, such as mobile phones and PDAs. LPG Mobile Communication Center offers improved user interface and data security along with a wide range of new functions including: SMS features, a fax option pack, a personal link list and attachment handling. It is available in eight language versions. LPG has developed separate versions of Mobile Communication Center for companies and for service providers and operators who can offer the new product as a hosted service for their own customers. LPG Mobile Communication Center can be tailored according to operators needs and for enterprise purposes it will be available as an out-of-the-box product that is easy to install and manage. LPG Innovations offers Mobile Communication Center as a tailored mobile solution for operators and service providers, this allows LPG to take into account the special needs of its customers. New functions make it easier for service providers to respond to their customers needs in a fast changing business environment and in enterprise use it increases customer satisfaction as well as effectiveness inside the company.
